OTR Tyre Retreading
Big Tyre delivers site-specific retreading solutions for Off-the-Road (OTR) tyres used in mining and heavy earthmoving.
By adjusting rubber compounds, tread depth, and patterns, we enhance performance, durability, and cost-efficiency under extreme conditions.

Racing Tyre Retreading
If you want to get better rubber on your tyres to improve your game and save money especially when new tyres are hard to source, Big Tyre has you covered.
We offer secure supply, enhanced performance, and significant cost savings across all options. Rubber options includes:
- Soft for maximum traction (drag racing, high performance speedway, mud and sand racing)
- Medium for high traction and longer life (standard speedway)
- Medium-Hard for durability (rally driving)
- Hard to very hard for maximum life (burnout)
Turf and Trolley Tractor Tyre Conversions
Not all tyre sizes are available new in a turf style pattern. However, that doesn’t mean you have to put up with destroying the grass on your golf course, turf farm, or sports field using lugged tyres.
At the very least, Big Tyre can buff the tread on a standard tyre down to only 10mm to make it suitable for use on turf.
For maximum life and minimum soil disturbance, we can also remove the lugs entirely and retread the tyre with 20mm of new, high quality rubber. The new tread can be left smooth or grooved into a turf pattern such as diamond.
The same improvements can be made to tyres on trolley tractors to stop you bouncing around the carpark.
Retreading with Non-Marking Rubber
Big Tyre’s non-marking white rubber retreads deliver reliable performance for industrial vehicles on hard surfaces where marking must be avoided. We have the capability to apply this compound to virtually any tyre, making it suitable for an exceptionally wide range of industrial vehicles.

Macadamia Dehusking Machines
Our expertise in relugging and retreading extends to tyres for macadamia farming machinery, such as dehusking machines and field vehicles. Tailored to suit each customer, Big Tyre converts drag racing tyres into macadamia dehusking tyres.
The retreaded tyres have a flat surface to maximise process efficiency and avoid damaging the nuts, while the rubber compound (soft, medium, or non-marking) is selected based on customer requirements and machine set-up.
